The HP Designjet 5500 (42") plotter prints at ultra fast speeds without any compromise to image quality. You are able to transfer files at up to 4.5 megabytes per second using a powerful HP jetdirect 615n print server and receive fast printing with professional image quality at speeds of up to 499 ft²/hr print speed. A six ink, 1200 dpi writing system and HP color layering technology provide outstanding photo quality for all your large format printing. Produce consistent color throughout the entire job run. The automatic closed loop calibration guaratees color consistency from the first print to the last.
