Overview

The HP OfficeJet 6500 integrates a high-speed color printer, flatbed/ADF scanner, copier and fax machine into one unit to save you time, money and aggravation. Because all four functions are designed to work together, you'll spend less time running cables and learning the vagaries of the new office contraption and spend more time using it productively. You have the speed of USB 2.0 connectivity and Ethernet connectivity and it's memory card slots support Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Secure Digital, MultimediaCard (MMC) and xD-Picture Card, allowing you to print right from the stored images.

The printer delivers photo-realistic image quality. 4800 x 1200 dpi color when printing from a computer gives any document a crisp and professional look. The paper tray can handle up to 250 sheets and you can use a variety of paper up to 8.5" x 14". Easily print screen captures of web pages, on-line transactions, and more with a push of a button on your keyboard.

The scanner reads at up to 2400 x 4800 dpi hardware with interpolation up to 19,200 dpi. 48-bit color captures millions of colors. The digital copier produces a maximum color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi on photo paper. Reduce and enlarge between 25 and 400 percent and make up to up to 100 copies from the original. Make a maximum of 32 copies per minute in black and 31 copies per minute in color.

Its fax function provides fast, convenient faxing with speeds of up to 3 seconds per page. Utilize its color and black faxing, auto fax reduction, auto redialing, speed dialing and PC fax send.
